User Journey Map
2 different ways users can take
These are rapid prototypes of my initial ideas on Pura.
1. Focused on brush maintenance
Looked for an easy way to maintain brush quality
2. Easy way to filer the water
Built filter models within brush tools based on ideation sketches
3. Started to use different materials
Found magnet attachment to be the most appropriate for keeping brush from getting damaged
Proof of Concept
Testing chemicals that can separate pigments from paint water. The test was successful and water was safely filtered and cleaned from the toxic pigments.
1. Prepare materials
Aluminum Sulfate and Hydrated Lime
2. Add the ingredients
Apply to the used paint water
3. Whisk it
You'll see pigments solidify
4. Filter it
Have another bucket and pour into it with any "coffee filter" on.
5. Already solidified
At this stage, pigments got solidified and only clean water comes out
Terrazzo pattern is made by using recycled timber or plastic as well as marble. This unique pattern is sustainably-minded and highly decorative.
Components and colors
Pura has simple components without any electronics inside. It's for painters who are more familiar with analog products.
4 variations of colors are available.
